Tasty Tart Recipe
Ingredients for 28 inches tart pan (8 servings):
– 400g of Maria biscuit
– 115g of melted butter
– 100g sugar
– 1.5L of milk
– 8 eggs
– Corn flour (4 tbs)
– 6g agar-agar
– Peel [Only yellow part] of one lemon
– Strawberries, blueberries, and caramel (for topping)
Instructions:
Making the crust:
– Blend the Maria biscuits into a fine powder using a food processor.
– Add the melted butter and 4 eggs to the biscuit powder and mix them well by hand to form a dough.
– Butter the tart pan.
– Place the dough in the tart pan and press down firmly to shape the crust.
– Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
Making the filling:
– Mix the cornflour with sugar (100g) and add 4 egg yolks to the mixture.
– Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat and add the lemon peel.
– You can add vanilla extract ( 1 teaspoon) if you want.
– Add the agar-agar to the milk and mix well.
– Bring the mixture to a boil and remove the lemon peel.
– Let the mixture cool down for about 15 minutes.
Finishing the tart:
– Pour the filling into the baked crust.
– Chill the tart overnight.
– Add your favourite topping to the tart.
